REVOLUTIONIZING THE INDUSTRY
At NOW Courier, we know shipping can feel confusing — especially if you don’t know what kind of truck, equipment, or service you need.
Whether you’re moving a few pallets across town or delivering heavy equipment to a job site, we’re here to make it simple.
Below, you’ll find answers to the questions we hear most often from business owners who just need to get something from Point A to Point B — fast, safe, and stress-free.
If you need a pallet to arrive by tomorrow, the key is dedicated, expedited freight. With NOW Courier, that means your shipment rides on a vehicle that goes directly from pickup to delivery—no terminals, no transfers, no waiting around. To get started, provide:
Pickup and delivery ZIP codes
Pallet size and weight
Your deadline (for example, “must deliver by 10 a.m.”)
Our Expedited Freight team will match your load with the right vehicle and route so your pallet moves overnight, safely and on time.
No dock? No problem. We can send a truck equipped with a liftgate or a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) so the driver can load and unload safely on-site.
When booking, just tell us:
Approximate weight and dimensions
Whether it’s palletized
Where it’s being dropped (construction site, warehouse lot, residential, etc.)
Our dispatch team will choose the right truck and unloading equipment so you don’t need a dock crew waiting.
A Moffett is a forklift attached to the back of a truck that can be detached at delivery. It’s perfect for large or heavy shipments where no dock or equipment is available.
To schedule one:
Let us know the drop-off location and surface type (gravel, pavement, etc.).
Share details about your load—pallet count, weight, and any special handling.
We’ll send a Moffett-equipped vehicle and trained driver who can unload directly where you need it.
You don’t have to lift a thing—literally.
Call or request a quote online before noon whenever possible. Our dispatch system instantly locates the nearest available vehicle that fits your freight size (box truck, straight truck, or flatbed).
We’ll confirm your pickup window, load requirements, and destination and you’ll receive tracking updates once it’s en route. Same-day freight is what our Expedited Freight team does best.
For items that don’t fit neatly on a standard pallet—think equipment, furniture, or awkward shapes—we use specialized trucks and handling protocols:
Secure tie-downs and padded straps
“Do Not Stack” and “This Side Up” labeling
Dedicated vehicles (no load sharing with other shipments)
Our drivers are trained to protect your cargo every step of the way so it arrives in the same condition it left.
Moving something industrial? We can provide flatbeds or liftgate trucks depending on the weight and accessibility of your site.
Our team will:
Assess load weight and dimensions
Arrange the right equipment for loading/unloading
Provide same-day or scheduled delivery options
From manufacturing plants to construction sites, we make sure your heavy equipment moves safely and efficiently.
Look for a logistics partner that offers equipment-assisted delivery options such as Moffetts or forklifts, like NOW Courier!
When comparing providers, ask:
Do you have trucks equipped with forklifts or liftgates?
Can your drivers operate unloading equipment?
Do you service locations without docks?
If the answer isn’t “yes” to all three, keep looking. The right partner should handle unloading without extra vendors or delays.
Fragile shipments need both smart packing and gentle handling.
Here’s how we ensure protection:
Use sturdy pallet bases and secure items with stretch wrap or corner guards.
Clearly label the shipment as Fragile and Do Not Stack.
Assign drivers experienced in handling sensitive freight.
We’ll make sure your goods stay upright, cushioned, and stable through every mile.
Every NOW Courier delivery includes electronic proof of delivery (POD). You’ll receive instant confirmation via email or portal update with:
Timestamp and recipient signature
Delivery photo (if requested)
GPS verification of the drop-off location
This documentation is available in real time so you always know your shipment hit its mark.
Our routing technology and driver communication tools make multi-stop deliveries easy.
We can:
Optimize stop order for the fastest route
Add, remove, or adjust stops while the driver is already on the road
Provide live status updates for each drop
This keeps your deliveries efficient, accurate, and stress-free all from a single dashboard connected to dispatch.
A standard 53-foot semi-truck can fit 26 standard pallets (48"x40") when they’re loaded single-stacked and evenly distributed. If your shipment includes taller or irregular pallets, the count might be lower.
If you’re not sure whether your load requires a semi or a smaller truck, just tell us how many pallets you’re moving and we’ll right-size the truck for you.
It depends on quantity, weight, and access.
1 – 10 pallets? A dock-high box truck or straight truck usually works best — flexible, faster, and easier for local deliveries.
11 – 26 pallets? You’re in semi-truck territory (full-truckload).
Hard-to-reach site? A smaller truck with a liftgate or Moffett may be a better fit.
We’ll help you choose the most efficient and cost-effective option based on your load and delivery site.
A Moffett is a truck-mounted forklift that travels with your delivery. It’s perfect for:
Job-site deliveries where no dock or forklift exists
Heavy pallets that need to be placed exactly where you want them
Residential or rural deliveries with limited access
When you request a Moffett, the driver can unload your freight directly on-site safely and efficiently.
Start with three simple details:
How big or heavy is your load? (number of pallets or total weight)
Where is it going? (distance and access type)
When does it need to arrive? (same-day, next-day, or scheduled)
We’ll size the truck — from cargo van to box truck to semi — so you don’t pay for more capacity than you need.
Just tell us what you need to move, where it’s going, and when it needs to be there. You don’t need to say “freight” or know the vehicle size. Phrases like “I need to ship 12 pallets from our warehouse to a job site in Cincinnati by tomorrow” give us everything we need to quote and dispatch the right truck immediately.
